Difference between deodorant and perfume -

The basic difference between the two is, that deodorant is specifically used for clinical value and conceals unpleasant body odour; however, perfume is a composition of aromatic mixtures of varied fragrances which are used to uphold your persona.

Perfume being generally an expensive product has a more elegant air to it from the composition to the user while deodorants are used as a preventative to combat bacterial infections and do not make a hole in your wallet.

A much larger amount of fragrance oil (15-25%) in concentrated alcohol is used in perfumes but a lesser amount of fragrance oil (2-3%) in mild alcohol is used in deodorants.
